After 30+ years in the industry, David has been the lead designer and architect-of-record for many notable projects in the Lake Tahoe Area. These projects range from the first LEED certified building in Truckee to homes for CEOs of major international corporations. Through years of experience, we have developed a practice that heeds the lessons of vernacular design in the context of a changing culture. Responding to climate, utilizing natural materials, and understanding local building traditions, we work to create projects that are rooted in place. As Lake Tahoe Architects, we believe that architecture should draw upon the beauty of the place built, as well as the vision of those that create it.
