Lake Tahoe Lookout
Perched above the tranquil east shore of Lake Tahoe, this residence strikes a harmony between minimalist design and bold geometric shapes. Expansive glazing frames views of the surrounding pines as well as providing ample daylight for the home. Every detail is curated to compliment and enhance the panoramic views of the ever-changing tapestry of nature.
The form of the house was driven by very steep topography, limited allowable coverage, and a restrictive height limit. Working within TRPA guidelines, we were able to create a massing that achieved the clients goals while conforming to strict regulations.
