Step into the embrace of warm modern design at this ski-in ski-out Tahoe home, where contemporary elegance meets alpine comfort. Nestled amidst the pines, this architectural gem seamlessly blends sleek lines with cozy textures, creating a sanctuary that harmonizes with its mountainous setting. From expansive windows framing snowy slopes to inviting interiors adorned with natural materials, every detail invites relaxation and connection with nature. Imagine mornings spent effortlessly hitting the slopes from your doorstep and evenings unwinding by the fire, surrounded by the serene beauty of Lake Tahoe’s winter wonderland. This home is more than a retreat; it’s a celebration of modern living in harmony with the exhilarating spirit of the Sierra Nevada mountains, offering an unparalleled lifestyle for those who cherish both adventure and tranquility.
Remodeled from an existing 900 S.F. rhombicuboctahedron, this project was completed over a number of years using salvaged materials from the original house and from other local projects. Stained concrete floors compliment the structural timber framing that frames views of the surrounding peaks. The custom fireplace fabricated by David Bourke ties the living room together.
